Gordon Culley
MSW Clinical Trainee
I am a passionate and dedicated mental health clinical trainee based in New Prague, MN, with seven years of experience supporting individuals facing substance use disorders, depression, schizophrenia, and various mood and behavioral challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to helping each client find growth and healing. I draw from a range of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques, to create an individualized path for every client I work with.
As a Licensed Graduate Social Worker, I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, supporting them through life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. My background in both mental health and addiction counseling gives me a broad perspective on the complexities people face and the strength it takes to seek help.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time outdoors, drawing, watching anime and engaging in creative pursuits. I am also an avid reader, always eager to learn more about psychology, wellness, and new therapeutic approaches. My commitment to personal growth and self-care informs the support I offer to my clients, as I believe in nurturing both mind and body.
